DESCRIPTION
The investing rule to buy low, sell high is a bunch of baloney! More money has been lost to this investing strategy than was ever made and it could mean you sit in a dead-money stock for years. In this video, I’ll show you why the rule for buy low, sell high is worse than meaningless and can actually lose your money…why sometimes you’ll make more money if you buy high and sell low! Stick around and I’ll also reveal three reasons to sell a stock even at a loss.

Now understand, I don’t blame anyone for repeating the rule, that you should only ever buy low and sell high. It just seems like common sense. But the problem is, you never REALLY know what’s high and what’s low do you. High can go higher and low can just keep sinking.
The worst thing about the advice is that you could be sitting in a stock for years waiting for it to rebound and sell higher than you bought it. You might eventually turn a profit but those years of dead money actually cost you much more because you weren’t invested in something better.
Do not be confined to these investing rules like buy low, sell high if it means you miss out on better investments. Do NOT be scared of dumping a bad investment at a loss if you find something better!
Besides the three sell signals I'll show you in the video, I'll also share the key differences in passive vs active investing because that's really what we're talking about when we say buy low, sell high. Your ability to actively manage your portfolio buying and selling stocks.
Passive investing is pure buy-and-hold. It’s basically a commitment to hold a stock until you retire and need the money. Passive investors want the stock market return without the risks to timing the market or making the bad investing decisions that destroy returns. Active investing is the hands-on approach to your investments, using the analysis and ideas we talk about here on the channel for that higher return. That means you’re regularly reevaluating your stocks and others to find the best possible investments.
